Things to do at Fron Goch Farm
There's loads to do at Fron Goch Farm! We've been busy creating lots of things to do across our 40 acre farm for all ages to enjoy.
Here's some ideas to get you started!
Take a walk around the farm
Fron Goch is set on 40 acres of land. We've built lots of paths for you to explore with your dog. Top tip: take a walk up to the top of the hill at sunset to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains.
Complete our orienteering course
Our orienteering course is a great way to explore the farm. Use the maps provided in the games shed to locate 10 orienteering points and find the toy animal hidden nearby. The course will take around 2 hours.
Snuggle up with a film in our games room
Our detached games room is the perfect place to snuggle up on the sofa with your favourite films, or attach your games console.
Enjoy a stroll to the Black Lion pub
We've created a brand new path that links up with the public footpath alongside the river to the Black Lion pub. It'll take around 45 minutes to an hour
Feed the sheep and ponies
We provide treats that are suitable for both our sheep and our Carneddau ponies, Glen and Elwy. Remember to feed them with a flat open palm. Be prepared to make a friend for life!
Go fishing!
Fron Goch owns the rights to fish on our land on the river Elwy. Apparently the river is famous for its brown trout! You are very welcome to bring your own fishing equipment.
Have a table tennis tournament
Challenge your friends and family to a game of table tennis on our outdoor table. Bats and balls are provided!
Enjoy our new playground
We're busy building our brand new playground and adding new items all the time! So far we have completed our swings and monkey bars!
Have a game of football
We provide a small football net and footballs for you to have a game in the front garden with your friends and family.
