We have a small children's play area with swings, monkey bars and a sandpit, which we're continually developing and adding to. Keep an eye on our social media to see what's new! Beyond the play area, children have our extensive grounds and countryside to discover, with plenty of space for outdoor adventures and exploring nature. We do ask that children are supervised by an adult while exploring the grounds. For guests travelling with younger children, we also provide two highchairs and two travel cots, helping to make packing for your stay a little easier.

Check-in is from 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is by 11am on the day of departure.Because this is a large property, it takes our cleaning team most of the day to prepare everything properly for arriving guests. For this reason, we're unable to guarantee early check-in.However, if the house is ready before 4pm, we'll always let you know. We'll send you a message as soon as the property is available, so there's no need to contact us on the day to check. We don't generally offer late check-outs, including for an additional fee, as our cleaning team needs the full changeover period to prepare the property for the next guests.
Fron Goch is approximately one mile outside the village of Llanfair Talhaiarn. Our postcode is LL22 8PF, but because the postcode covers quite a large rural area, we strongly recommend using our Google Maps link rather than relying on the postcode alone:https://maps.app.goo.gl/n1Q2kheEAMYH1Sa66As you approach the property, look out for the large oak signs for Fron Goch, followed by smaller signs directing you to the property. There is ample parking at the property for guests.

Absolutely! Fron Goch sits within 40 acres of beautiful North Wales countryside, much of which is currently being rewilded. There are paths throughout the grounds for guests to explore, making it a wonderful place for a walk, for children to have an adventure or for dogs to stretch their legs.Because this is natural countryside, you may encounter wildlife, including wild deer, and there may occasionally be sheep in the fields. We therefore ask that dogs are kept under close control, particularly around wildlife and livestock. Children are very welcome to explore and enjoy the grounds, but the land is natural countryside rather than a managed play area, so children should be supervised by an adult at all times.
Yes. We have two 22kW electric vehicle charging points available for guests to use at Fron Goch. There's no need to download an app. Simply scan the QR code on the charger and enter your details to start charging. The charging points are untethered, so please bring your own EV charging cable that's compatible with your vehicle.
Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and is included in the price of your stay.As we're in a rural location, our internet connection operates over 4G rather than a fixed-line broadband connection. It's generally very good and is normally more than capable of everyday browsing and streaming, although speeds can occasionally vary.Mobile reception is generally very good across most networks. Three can sometimes be a little patchy inside the house, although reception is usually much better outside.
There are some fantastic places to eat, drink and explore nearby. Rather than keeping a static list here, we regularly update our Guest Handbook with our current recommendations for pubs, restaurants, shops, attractions and things to do in the local area.
